Impacts of Giving

Annual Fund

Every year, Bowman Annual Fund raises money to support and enhance our learning environments and professional developments. Below are a few examples of what Annual Fund gifts have gone towards.

The playground provides a place for elementary-aged students to explore and play during freeplay.

Field trips allow our students to learnĀ and explore outside of the classroom.

School vans provide transport as students go to and from field trips and sporting events.

Kitchen carts allow students to cook and bake right outside their classroom, an important aspect of practical life.

Technology upgrades help our older students access information, complete assignments, and learn valuable skills.

Bowman Learning Village (West Campus):

In 2019, Bowman families, staff, alumni, and friends contributed an astounding $3 million towards the "Discover. Create. Become." Capital Campaign. The Bowman Community has been deeply invested in our mission and values throughout the history of our school, and we are honored by their generosity and commitment.

The Learning Village enhances Bowman's campus and program in several key ways:

  • The IDEALab
provides students with a dedicated space for STEAM and enrichment activities, including a science and media lab, woodshop, and maker center.
  • The Children’s House
includes three- and four-year-olds in two multi-age classrooms with specially designed indoor and outdoor environments to set a foundation for future Bowman learners.
  • The Multi-Purpose Gymnasium
allows for hosting school-wide activities, on-site sports practices, and community events.
  • The Stage
expands our commitment to the performing arts as a means to stimulate students’ creativity, self-expression, and confidence.
  • Outdoor Learning Environments
offer open-ended interactions, exploration, discovery, and connection with nature through our science gardens, greenhouse, sunken learning circle, patios, walkways, and terraces.
